Recovery Miracle
I am sharing this story as shared to me, "I was in jail and all that I could think about and care about was getting out of jail to get high. I was obsessed with wanting only drugs, it dominated my thinking. It was the only thing important to me.
A woman on her way leaving jail, handed me a piece of paper with a prayer written on it. I don't know where I had the wisdom to begin reading this prayer, but I did. I read it faithfully every day, when I woke up and went to bed at night. Gradually the obsession started to lift. I started caring about my family, and my life again.
"Thank you Lord for letting me get to know you personally.
Thank you for dying on the cross for our sins.
I give you my life Lord as you have forgiven me of my sins and have
given me eternal life.
Please help me to be the person you want me to be."
Amen
Today, she has become a beacon of hope and inspiration.
